Yeah, somehow Beachcomber's TFA retool wormed his way in here. And he stutters.
Why the hell I decided that Beachcomber would turn up, with a stutter at that, is totally beyond me. xD

Lots of canon foreshadowing, I find a way to get Starcatcher to quit chewing up my scenery and Positron offers us a tiny glimpse into his sex life. xD (What the crap?! I swear, he keeps highjacking my scenes!)
Ah, and the flower Prowl found at the market is a pigeon orchid (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pigeon_Orchid)

What the *bleep* just happened?!
Nov. 10th, 2009 11:26 pmI literally just had Positron-- sweet loving Positron-- highjack a scene and take to a dark place I never thought I would go on my own.
Positron is Prowl's grandfather, and has been raising him solo since Prowl was born. Right now, Prowl is nine, and is waiting for Positron to come out of his room to make breakfast and take him to school. When it doesn't happen, he goes over to his room and asks if he'll be coming out today. Positron sounds like he's in pain and Prowl panics and goes in.
What's happening is that Positron is having trouble with his legs-- they've gone very stiff and he can't bend them to get off his bed. He explains that he's not taken his pills for them in a few days, and it's finally caught up with him. He asks Prowl to go get his pills and something to drink so he can take them.
Prowl's gone all of like two minutes, but by the time he comes back, Positron's in AGONY. This is what I wrote:
