Oh God, IBM Watson is so fucking awesome. I had to make him sentient! My headcanon, being the finicky bitch that it is, decided that he'd be gay and then I decided he needed a boyfriend and here we are.

Shut up, I needed someone to ship Watson with. God I feel so guilty for having to develop an OC here given how I feel about them most the time. God I feel so weird doing RPF / RPS, which is generally a major no-go for me. The even more embarrassing thing is that I know nothing about this character. I'll try to develop him better, I swear.

First off: Holy mother of Jesus watch “Junk Yard Dog.” If you don’t want to hug KITT by the end of it, you’re a soulless prick. Let’s just leave it at he went under begging Michael to save him.

Written in line with the Alpha Delta (or KIAD) AU wherein Kitt is the human the Foundation saved, and Michael is a sentient Trans AM. It’s great fun to play with, different dynamics and such. In this, Kitt’s fiancé was doing some shady dealings in addition to being a police lieutenant, and he arranged to have her killed when she found out, which is what she’s referring to in this passage. A lot of her motivations up to this point would have been trying to put her former self to rest if she can ever really move on. (I should rewrite Michael’s speech from earlier in the episode for her…)

Moving on. Despite the quote being sort of sad, I wanted to put a somewhat pleasant spin on this. Canon!Michael wasn’t cooperating so I had to fall back on this.

I’m such an AU whore, it’s not even real. 8D Knight Rider, with a twist—Michael is a prince in waiting, visiting America. The Foundation provides him with a field agent to protect him from harm: Katherine Knight, codenamed KITT. During Michael’s travels, he always sways KITT to go along with his wanderlust and to help the people they encounter on their travels who need the Foundation’s aid. And of course yes they end up romantically involved.

Michal’s country, I’m still hammering out the details. Northern European, with the primary languages being English and German. Excuse to exploit the fact that David Hasselhoff speaks German sayWHA? German translations from Google Translations and iTranslate (apologies for any errors >>; ).

I must write more for this AU. I have bunnies, but this was the first one to really bite me. The way KITT and Michael took the latter third of this fic with German, damn it should be easy. xD
