For explanation: I found a prompt on the A-Team kink meme where someone suggested that Face was blinded in an accident, but was still an active, contributing member of the team. I was in love and started playing with it. I admit I still watch episodes of the show and try to reimagine the scene with Face being blind. Anyway…

Should I be embarrassed to admit this scene made me want to cry? It’s just… God in Heaven, someone give Dirk Benedict an Emmy for this moment. It was beautiful. This bunny bit so hard when I watched this episode. The scene in question is pretty much untouched, except for where I reimagined it with the AU.

I admit to listening to “Hey Jude” a fair bit while hammering out getting the scene translated into fic and AU forms. It’s seven minutes long in its purest original recording, half of that being repetition of Na na na na na na na, na na na na, hey Jude but when you’re translating episode to fic, you don’t really notice.

The Write-a-Day Challenge is back! 8D

I had… three different ideas for this. The others were my Face AU, with him coping with losing his sight, and the Alpha Delta AU wherein KITT is getting used to her new identity and her partner Trans AM. I settled on genderswapped Murdock because this bunny was admittedly the healthiest of the lot.

Initially I was going to keep this strictly on BA’s musings, but somehow Hannibal and Face worked their way in. I don’t really mind it, either—everyone’s always very nice and cooperative. c: (Except BA. Normally he’s fairly cooperative… I think he’s a little reticent about the circumstances and I finally gave up on his passage.)

I am not at all ashamed of how Murdock’s section went. It’s easily the shortest thing I will ever fucking write, but I think it works. Plus, elaborating would have given it all away. Have fun guessing, kids. |3

Uhm… Shit I should start writing down or otherwise remembering where my bunnies come from. It would come in handy for bunnies like this one. ^^; I swear to you, I think I got this one when I was in the car on the way to the post office.

I still stand by my belief that Hannibal is Murdock’s daddy. Can you imagine how Up to Eleven it would be with Murdock as a woman? Poor schlub ought to be grateful it was BA and not Hannibal—or God forbid, BA and Hannibal.

I’m ashamed to admit, I know very little about the Vietnam War, despite it being my favorite era of American history, so if any of this information is inaccurate, I do apologize, and please let me know so I can fix it.

BA is like the biggest freaking marshmallow ever. I swear, the man can break your neck without breaking a sweat, turn around and be so frickin’ nice to moms and their babies. And if you don’t think scenes like that are cute, you have no soul. (My favorite moment has to be when he’s talking to this little Mexican girl who ran away from an illegal immigration ring—“What’s your name?” “Maria.” “Do you live around here, Maria?” “…” “Do you want to be my friend?” “…*nodnod*” Oh God, I think I’m going to start crying…! ;w; Yes, it’s that cute that the mere memory makes me cry a little. Go find it—it’s somewhere in season two and is cute as all hell.)

…Okay I admit it—I want Murdock’s jacket.

I think that I’d like to have Dirk Benedict, William Daniels and somehow, some way Edward Mulhare read my homework to me.

Fill No. 30 for my 100 Themes – Rain

…Y’know what’s weird? When you hear a song, and it reminds you of a pairing and even though the song is completely inappropriate for the pairing, the connection’s stuck? That’s what it’s like for this. Whenever I hear Smokey Mountain Rain by Ronnie Milsap, I always think of a very depressing slant on Hannibal x Face. (Which is why you do not want to listen to this song for this fic.) But I still liked the idea of this pairing and rain. Additionally, there was a fantastic prompt on the A-Team kink meme that involved Face being blinded during a mission, but can still be productive and contribute to the team. I loved that prompt just because it’s not Face being all “oh woe is me.” He bounces back and continues to be his badass, charming self. Those two things sort of merged in my head and here we go. I didn’t want to get into the nitty gritty details on how Face lost his sight, so I suppose you can use your imagination as to what happened.

Finally sat down and wrote myself some A-Team stuff!
Did you know the fandom likes to play the Break the Cutie trope with Murdock all the time? Holy fuck, the number of noncon prompts I found on the kink meme with him in them is stunning. Additionally, someone please explain Face x Murdock to me. I dun geddit.

Ooh, someone needs to draw Face relaxing in a lounge chair. Like yesterday. xD Also, what do you think of this storyline, Face being blind? I like it and have every intention to play with it more, but I’m wondering if it’s just me.

Lately I’ve taken to pairings wherein the couple doesn’t have to say “I love you” for it to be obvious. Hmm… Oh well.

Aaanyway, I’ll shut up and let you read.
