Okay, bear with me. There’s a lovely fan fiction on DeviantArt (Part One is here) that explores the idea of FiM Rainbow Dash being female to male (FTM) transgendered. The idea sort of stuck in my mind and now I can’t unsee it and it’s in my mind canon and I love it.

I listened to both versions of “Reflection” while writing this, which explains a lot of the sad tone. When you listen to it as if from Dash’s point of view, not recognizing his own (female) reflection, it’s a really depressing song.

I’ve been watching a ton of Boston Legal as of late. It started because I was looking for an episode that featured William Daniels as a judge… which I found in the season five opener. I love this show to bits, so I just kept watching. I admit I’ve never written any Boston Legal fic, but hey, first time for everything and all that.

God I swear I could have written some proper Alan x Denny, but Jerry x Katie kept calling out to me and their relationship is so cute…! I had three ideas for them, and I was only halfway through the season. >.>; I kinda had to make myself stop to write this. And if it reads like I stopped giving a crap toward the end, I might have—I was getting lesson bribed again and had a time limit.

This pulls a lot of stuff from “Autoboot Camp” and Wasp’s arc from Season III, but I felt it would be the most meaningful after Endgame. All the characters have done some serious changing and developing since “Transform and Roll Out!” and I can think of no reason why Bumblebee would be an exception.
