Bonnie has a love-hate relationship with… love. That comes form suffering a conflict of signals—the pull of one's heart fighting against decades of being trained to think a certain way about said pull of the heart? It's not an easy thing for her. So many times she's tried to break it off with me, terrified she is committing some kind of mortal sin.

I knew it was going to be like that for a while. I take the good days when they come, and the bad days in stride. Hopefully, there'll be a day when the bad days are gone altogether.
